I work with primarily silver and gold, and select gemstones from time to time. My work is inspired by nature sometimes directly, by making molds or casting natural objects, other times, simply inspired by a form or pattern I have seen. In the past I was enamored with the heft and materiality of metal. With the current trend of increasing metal prices, I have suspended many of my designs that verge on impractical and less than affordable to make for my small market reach. In part this is why I am exploring new materials and methods of making adornment and have slowed my presence at shows or in the marketplace.
